The Cameron Crowe(Singles, Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire) directed documentary will premier on the PBS series “American Masters” on October 21 at 9pm. Crowe worked with over 1200 hours of footage from the band’s 20 year journey plus another 24 hours of recent interviews and concert films. I remember about 10 years ago Eddie Vedder saying at a show at the Tweeter Center(now Comcast Center) that it was amazing that opening band Sonic Youth has been together for more then 20 years and that hopefully Pearl Jam would be so fortunate.
